Chief Monkey

Hailing from the south-west, Chief Monkey are a polished pack of primates with a few tricks up their sleeve. They really know how to deliver – although it’s hard to get just what! Over the years these busy gentlemen have honed an extensive repertoire of original tunes, delving into well-loved genres such as klesmerchaos, dubhop, softmetal, loungefunk, schmooze-swing, hillbilly hoedown and more. They’ll draw on all tools in the belt: fiddle, guitar, bass, drums, cello-as-bass, and the eminently sustainable melodica (a wind-powered keyboard). Keep a close watch out for cracking chops, classy dad humour, middle aged sex appeal, egocentric humility, and blatantly obvious political innuendo...otherwise you might just miss them.
