From the belly of the Southwest comes the acoustic funk soul of Tilly Kay.
Tilly Kay’s hypnotic vocal textures combine with the rhythmic resonance of Sam Liddon on electric, and double bass. These two are all about collaboration and this particular incarnation sees Perth jazz guitarist Michael Ellis dropping his licks in all the right places.
Coming off the back of a string of shows up the Western Coast with Creality Travelling Arts Festival, Tilly Kay has also performed at Denmark Festival of Voice, Dunsborough Jazz Festival, Nanga Music Festival and as a touring vocalist for Mama Kin, The Nomadics and Tanya Ransom.
Expect to be drawn in by the heart and groove of Tilly Kay.
